Mountview Cottage This traditional and beautifully restored cottage is located in a peaceful setting on an elevated site. This charming cottage has been tastefully restored, and has a traditional Irish sitting room with open fire and flagstone floor. The cottage is perfect for getting away from it all, as it is situated in a sparsely populated farming and fishing community. It is close to the striking Atlantic Coast and numerous sandy beaches, in an area containing some of the most beautiful and unspoiled scenery in Western Europe. The area is perfect for those requiring peace and relaxation. Upon entry through the cottages’ half door, you come into the living area, the focal point being the traditional open fireplace. In the opposite corner of the room sits the fully furnished Irish dresser, and spinning wheel, recreating the ambience of by-gone days. The flagstone floor, and wooden beams on the ceiling complete the character of the room. The kitchen contains an oven/hob, and fridge, and dining table.
