Fanad Activities

The area is very quiet and remote, and therefore perfect for country walks or simply relaxing. From the house you have unhindered access to Atlantic beaches, moors, hills and lakes. As the houses are surrounded by spectacular coastal and rural landscapes, it is ideal for most outdoor activities especially water sports, bird watching, fishing, walking and cycling. Furthermore, all of North Donegal’s main attractions are within easy driving distance. However the biggest attraction of Donegal is its relaxed and peaceful way of life.

Beaches

There are many sandy beaches in the nearby area, all of which are quiet and peaceful, with very few tourists. These Atlantic beaches are impressive for their windswept beauty, and jagged cliffs. The beaches and rugged coastline make the area a walkers paradise.

Fishing
